After a trip to the grocery store it became evident to Mercedes mayoral candidate Israel Coronado people didn’t have a mask. 

“So we began building masks and we will continue to make them to help prevent the spread of the virus,” Coronado said. “The masks are being handed out to anyone over the age of 65, or anyone who has a serious medical condition.”
