Lady Tigers take hard loss on the road at PSJA High

PHARR — The Mercedes Lady Tigers were on the road as they took the floor Saturday afternoon against the PSJA High Lady Bears.
The Lady Tigers entered the game short-handed as two of the starters were out of the line up for the holiday contest.
Without Danielle Barroso and Jayda Luna in the line-up the Lady Tigers went to work against a strong Lady Bears team.
And after four quarters of play the Lady Bears went on to defeat the Lady Tigers 56-25.
The Lady Bears were lead by Kaylah Hernandez. Hernandez dropped 30 points in the contest.
During the opening minutes of the game both teams struggled to find their rhythm. The Lady Bears took a six to five lead, and after that it became a claw fight for the Lady Tigers as they worked hard to get back into the game. Next, the Lady Bears went on a thirteen point run and pulled away from the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers will look to get back into the winners column at home when they face off with the La Feria Lady Lions on Tuesday, November 30. Game tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
