Trevino honored with TASO Lifetime Membership Award

Jesse Trevino was recently honored by the Texas Association of Sports Officials Basketball Division with their Lifetime Membership Award for his commitment to basketball officiating for 48 years.
“The Lord was with me for all those games for 48 years. He gave me the ability, the strength and the knowledge to do the job right,” Jesse Trevino said.
Jesse has officiated over 2,000 games which include many bi-district and area playoff games.
He officiated the first-ever All-Star game hosted by RGV chapter.
On September 2, 2019 he received the Rio Grande Valley Chapter Outstanding Achievement Award.
He served as TASO President of the RGV Chapter for two years, and served in the US Army National Guards for six years.
TASO Rio Grande Valley Chapter President Mario Reyna said, “Jesse Trevino is the ultimate sports official professional. His appearance on the court was impeccable.”
