Anita’s quilt is titled: There’s No Place Like Home- Life after Oz! Her rationale for the quilt was since “The Wizard of Oz movie was made in the late 40s. Dorothy was about 12, no more than 13 years old in the movie; hence, she would be my age.” I am depicting Dorothy as a Hippie Dorothy during the Hippie age of my life. Middle age Dorothy living in a modest house with a career. Finally, Elderly Dorothy on her way to live in an Assisted Living facility, which someday I may have to use.
