A: No this is my second year.
Q: What is your best memory of RGVLS over the years?
A: I’ve been going to RGVLS since I was very little my great grandparents have been helping out for over 20 years. It has become tradition in our family to show pigs, my grandfather showed and my father. I’m excited to continue the tradition I really enjoy spending the time with my great grandparents these are memories I’ll always hold close to my heart.
Q: Have you been successful at RGVLS before, or what is your goal for this years competition?
A: Better in my showmanship I have two great pigs but i want to challenge myself in showmanship and win!
Q: How much work does it take to prepare and work with your animal?
A: Taking care of animals is around the clock they require a lot of time to get them show ready. Pigs need to be feed twice a day and if they get sick they need medication. A lot of hours has to be put in walking them and cleaning the pins it is no easy job and I’m grateful for my parents and Eschere Livestock Company for all the support they give me.
