Tigers run away with McHi win

The Tigers defeated the McAllen High Bulldogs at Tiger Stadium 47-38.
On their first win of the season, the Tigers (1-2) tallied 566 total offensive yards against the Bulldogs, with 418 yards rushing on 51 carries with six touchdowns.
It was a close contest all the way to the very end.
Senior Tyrell Trevino sealed the win for the Tigers with his come from behind touchdown to lift the Tigers over the Bulldogs late in the game.
Trevino ended the night with two touchdowns on 22 carries and 171 rushing yards.
Ethan Anciso punched in two touchdowns for the Tigers. His longest run of the night was a 32 yard gain for the Tigers. Anciso ended the night with 95 yards on 10 carries.
Tigers Wide reciver Xavier Sanchez picked up 199 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions. His longest catch up field was 53 yards to help position the Tigers for a score.
The Tigers will get on the road with non-district games at La Feria (2-1) on Friday and Sharyland at home September 30, at 7:30 p.m.
