Trevino signs with TAMUK

Tyrell Trevino made a big splash when he jumped on to the Mercedes Tigers football scene. And he didn’t disappoint. During his senior season, Trevino was all business finishing with 20 touchdowns and 1,475 yards on 154 carries for the Tigers.
As polite and soft spoken as the football sensation is, he let his actions on the football field do all the talking.
At any moment Trevino could spark the crowd into a roaring frenzy as they watched him rush for a Tigers touchdown down the sideline.
At his Signing Day, Trevino expressed his joy and happiness for reaching his goal to play college football. He said it was important for him to stay close to home and is excited to take his talent to Texas A&M Kingsville to play with other Valley high school standouts.
Texas A&M Kingsville is an NCAA Division II program that competes in the Lone Star Conference.
Trevino ran for 4,100 all-purpose yards and picked up 50 touchdowns as a three year letter man for the Tigers as a running back and receiver.
Trevino will play receiver at TMUK and will be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business while at TAMUK.
