Q&A with RGVLS participant Ayla Gonzalez , John F. Kennedy Elementary, 3rd Grade

The Mercedes Enterprise caught up with a number of RGVLS participant Ayla Gonzalez heading to the competition to show off her work with her animal. Here is what she had to say:
Q: What club are you a member in?
A: Queen City 4-H
Q: What will you be presenting at RGVLS?
A: Breading guild
Q: What is your animal’s name and breed?
A: Darla
Q: Why do you like presenting at RGVLS?
A:This is my first year! I’ve been watching my bother show for the past few years so I’ve been waiting to be part of RGVLS it always fun to come and watch now I get to present my hard work.
Q: Is this your first time presenting at RGVLS?
A: This is my first year showing an animal but I exhibited Art last year and it was so cool!!
Q: What is your best memory of RGVLS over the years?
A: Watching my brother win reserve in his class last year, I’m very proud of him.
Q: Have you been successful at RGVLS before, or what is your goal for this years competition?
A: I just want to go out there and do my best and have fun I’ve learn so much this year.
Q: What is it like for you when you lead your animal or show your project in front of the judges?
A: It’s so exciting I love my pig she is my pet so when we are out there she calm and so am I she makes it fun I put a lot of time walking her and bonding with her.
Q: What preparation did you put or work on with your animal or project to get ready for RGVLS?
I walked my pig a lot! My parents have helped me so much in all of this I’m so grateful for them , and I’ve put a lot of hours in cleaning feeding and walking.
